
Sumo have been appointed to develop a new brand identity and communications for Dance City, the National Dance Agency for the North East of England following four way creative pitch.
The tender follows the appointment of Penny Rae as the new Artistic Director/CEO at Dance City. The new brand identity will be launched at the Dancing the World festival in Newcastle this May.
Sumo’s Jim Richardson said ‘We have wanted to work with Dance City for many years and we are delighted to have been selected to take their branding forwards at this exciting time for the organisation.’
Sumo have a long history of branding prestigious cultural organisations including the Brighton Royal Pavilion, the Northern Writer’s Centre, Waygood Centre for Art and Shetland Museum and Archives.
